Alvarez Shines in Day Two Split

Dodge City, KS-Despite dropping game three 9-8; then winning game four 4-2 Garden City Community College Sophomore Francisco Alvarez shined.

Alvarez completed the weekend going 7-16 at the dish, contributed 10 RBI'S and scored six runs. In game two of the four game series Alvarez hit two home runs. In game three he homered twice and singled.

In game four Alvarez singled twice in the 4-2 win. Alvarez will continue his baseball career at Arkansas State and will study chemical engineering.

In game four the Busters committed no errors and tabbed 11 hits while Dodge City had 7 hits and one error.

The Busters will have their bye week in Jayhawk West play this week and will close out league play against Hutchinson April, 25-26.

The Busters will travel to Metropolitan Community College-Longview, (MCC-Longview) on Friday April 17th for games one and two of the four game series. Garden City will then travel to McCook Community College on Wednesday April, 22nd for a 1x9 contest.
