Busters Split with Grizzlies

Garden City, KS- The Busters drop Game III to the Butler Grizzlies 8-6 after Butler scored two runs in the top half of the 7th inning. The Busters drop to 24-8 on the season and trail the series 2-1.

The Busters had 5 hits in game 3 led by Kyle Lopez who was 2 for 3 with an RBI and scored 1 run. Sean Kennedy went 1-2 and scored 2 runs. Kennedy continues to standout for Garden City.

Butler had 13 hits in the game which came from the top half of their lineup. They were led by Bryant Klusener who was 4 for 5 with 4 RBI's.

In Game IV the Busters win 9-8 after catching the runner in a run down. Garden City improves to 25-8 on the season after splitting the series with Butler.

The Busters were led by Aeneas Roberson who was 2 for 2 from the dish and scored 1 run. Brooks Benson and Mason Brown were both 2 for 4 with 3 RBI's each and both of them also had home runs. The Busters are 7-3 in their last 10 games. 

The Grizzlies were led by leadoff man Hunter Aquirre who was 3 for 5 with an RBI and a run. 

The Busters return to action on Wednesday March, 30th when they host Frank Phillips. Garden City defeated FPCC 17-4 in 7 innings on March, 2nd.
