Tyrakoski's Two Run Single Propels Win

Hutchinson, KS-Buster Pitcher Dillan Feuerstein picks up his first collegiate win as the Busters downed the Blue Dragons in Game IV 10-8. Garden City produced six runs in the last two innings highlighted by pinch hitter Jake Tyrakoski's two run off the wall single in the top of the eighth. 

Tyrakoski's single pulled the Busters within two trailing 8-6 just missing a grand slam. With runners on the corners Alex Nielson delivered an RBI single pulling Garden City within 1.  Aeneas Roberson would follow with runners on first and second hammering an RBI single to tie the game at 8.

In the ninth inning Conner Reynolds delivered a two run blast over the right center wall to end Garden City's scoring. It was Reynolds' 8th home run of the year.

Feuerstein's win was capped off by Garden City's fifth double play of the series with a 6-4-3 turn. Feuerstein appeared in the eighth inning and struck out Caden Doga who hammered the Busters in Game III with a grand slam and a two run homer in Game II.

Garden City returns to action on Thursday April 28th when they travel to McCook Community College for a 1x9.  They return to  Garden City for a four game series with Pratt to end the regular season. 

Garden City is currently 18-10 in the Jayhawk West and are 37-13 overall.
