Oct 16, 2015
Key contributions have been made by sophomore Skyler Tebo, freshmen Jordan Bishop, Dominic Pollock, Carter Lewis, Nathan Roy, Mac McNish, and Luke Russell. Coach Green says" it is their character that has made this young team successful. Green adds "These are good golfers yes, but add the inside desire of each golfers to be better and make their team mates better has resulted in excellence."
The golfers have faced a very tough schedule put together by Coach Green. The high level of competition has motivated the team to develop a hard work ethic and determination to put Garden City on the map. The Busters travel to Waco next week to compete in the Coca Cola Classic hosted by McLennan College on Baylor's home course Twin Rivers. This will be the final tournament of the fall then the squad will return to conditioning and preparation for the spring competition and a run for the NJCAA National Golf Tournament 2016.
