Men's Soccer Ends Season at 11-5-1 Overall

Garden City, KS-The Men's Soccer Season came to an abrupt close suffering a 1-0 loss to Johnson County Community College in the Region VI Playoffs. Garden City the number four seed defeated Johnson County; the number five seed 2-1 earlier this year.

Despite numerous attempts for Garden City to score in the first half the Buster defense held off Johnson County going into halftime 0-0. The game winning goal came at the 7:47 mark of the second half with a head shot by Kyle Johnson. Garden City had several close shots that had the Buster faithful cheering their hearts out until time expired and the number five seed Johnson County upset Garden City avenging their early season loss.

Johnson County will move on to play number one seed Pratt Community College. Pratt defeated Northwest Tech 6-0.
