Broncbuster men blank Pratt

Pratt, KS-The Broncbuster men's soccer team snapped out of their mini slide on Tuesday with a 3-0 victory over Pratt on the road.

After a scoreless first half, Garden City's offense erupted over the final 45 minutes, getting goals from Remi Emeriau, Jose Ubana and Peter Lvusic.

"This was a big win for our team today," Head Coach Scott Westbrook said. "

Emeriau's goal early in the second half was a thing of beauty. The freshman curled a ball from 20 yards out, and shoved it in the top-left corner. Later in the period, Ubana beat two defenders and the goalkeeper to the ball, and knocked it in before Lvusic scored on a counter attack.

"Our guys really hustled in this one," Westbrook said. "Give them credit."

The Broncbusters return home on Friday to face Dodge City, then they close the regular season at Hesston on Monday.
