NJCAA Indoor Nationals Await Busters
  • James Liburd
    • James qualified in triple jump with a jump of 46 feet. He has a ton of talent and didn't touch the board the entire competition so I know he will jump further. James also competed in the 200 getting 4th overall. James is a versatile athlete that we believe can compete at a high level in possible 4 different events. We are excited to see what the future brings for this young man
  • Quincy Watts
    • Quincy had a good weekend in qualifying in long jump with a jump of 23'9.50 which makes him 3rd in the nation. Right now Q is jumping off of pure athleticism and when he gets it which he will soon he will put together some huge numbers for the Busters. Quincy also competed in triple jump and placed 5th. He has the potential to be one of the best triple jumpers in the nation he just needs a little more time.

  • Andre McGill
    • Andre had another great week of competition running well in the 60m dash. He placed 3rd overall with a time of 6.93 barely missing the qualifying standard of 6.87.

  • Rodney Henry
    • Rodney had an ok day competing in the 800. Coach Putnam "He came out a little too fast through the 200 and it kind of killed him for the rest of the race. He still came out 2nd in his heat but Rodney has much more he just has to run smart".
  • James Haley
    • James competed in the long jump, 60m dash, and 200m dash. He fouled all three jumps in long jump with 2 being extremely great jumps. He then went on to run the 60 where he was DQ'd for a false start. He finished the weekend running the 200m dash where he placed 10th out of 34 competitors. It was a rough weekend for James but I can tell he is motivated for a big comeback next weekend.
