Durant, OK-The Broncbuster women finished strong at the Southeastern Oklahoma State rodeo over the weekend, finishing in fifth place.

Jayme Flowers finished 3rd in the long go for barrell racing before placing seventh overall after her horse slipped in the long go.

Former Broncbuster Shelby Whiting, who's now at Southeastern Oklahona State, took home the all-around cowbgirl title by winning the breakaway roping and goat tying events.

The men's team finished ninth with Gunnar Stapleton placing seventh in the team roping heeler and Peyton Mentzer was fifth in breakaway roping (he finished third in the long-go but had no time in the short).
