Busters Go Into Break 3-1 in KJCCC DI Play

Garden City, KS-Nick Salazar's Busters suffered their first conference loss of the 2015-16 season 70-57 to the Coffeyville Red Ravens. Shala Dobbins led all scorers with 22 points and Donajsa Scott contributed 11. 

The Ravens outscored Garden City 26-6 in the second quarter and never looked back. Kavita Akula got into foul trouble early and the Busters struggled scoring in the first half going 7-22 from the field and 2-8 from three.

Alanie Fisher led four players in double figures for Coffeyville with 13 and Caletria Curtis added 12. The Ravens go into break at 3-0. Garden City will play Neosho Community College at 2 PM Saturday January, 2nd in Chanute. The Busters return home January, 6th against Pratt.
