Broncbusters rip through Kansas Wesleyan

Salina, KS-Despite some early-season hiccups, the Broncbuster volleyball team is making a strong push towards the postseason.

Garden City continued its strong play on Monday, beating Kansas Wesleyan in straight sets 25-13, 25-18, and 25-13.

"These girls are buying into what we want them to do," Head Coach Jacquelynne Matula said. "That's good to see."

Shaney Tiamulu had a team-best 13 kills while Maddie Park had 14 assists. Morgan Gray recorded three service aces and Bailey Martinez was all over the floor with 14 digs.

Garden City has won four out of their last six matches. Their only two losses during that stretch was a five-set defeat to Clarendon and a three-set loss to first-place Seward County on Saturday where the Broncbusters were dropped in three sets 25-18, 25-18 and 26-24.

Garden City is back home Wednesday vs. Pratt-6:30 match time at Conestoga Arena.
