Dodge City, KS-After struggling in their first game back in more than two weeks, Garden City found their footing in game two vs. Pratt. But the Beavers eventually prevailed in extra innings, completing a two-game sweep.

Kenzie Anderson collected four hits, Lexi Sanborn knocked in two runs, and Pratt topped the Broncbusters 8-4 in nine innings Saturday afternoon at Legends Park.

After falling down 1-0 on Michaela Trevino's RBI groundout in the third, Garden City tied the game in the fourth, thanks to Audrey Graf, who reached on an error, took second on defensive indifference, stole third and came home on Madison Brasher's sacrifice fly.

Pratt went back on top in the fifth. Three singles by Reagann Bennett, Trevino and Anderson loaded the bases. That set the table for Celeste Chavez, who was the beneficiary of Brasher's error in right that allowed two runs to score, putting the Beavers up 3-1.

Garden City answered in their half of the sixth. A two-out, RBI single by Ariel Denney knotted the score at 3.

From there, neither team managed a hit until extra innings. But in the ninth, back-to-back errors, an RBI single by Katie Otto and a passed ball, gave Pratt the lead again. Sanborn added a two-run single before Monica Courville pushed a ball past Vivian Lopez at second for a run-scoring base hit that made it 8-3.

Garden City looked to start their own rally in the ninth when Denney singled with one out and Kaylee Rogers reached on an error. Madison Biller followed with a sac fly that cut the deficit to 8-4. But with two outs, Gaby Hernandez grounded out to third.

Otto notched the win in the circle for Pratt, allowing four runs on 10 hits in nine innings. She struck out five and walked two.
