Broncbusters Roll Past Lamar in 7–0 Rout

The Garden City Broncbusters men's soccer team dominated from start to finish on the road, overwhelming Lamar Community College in a 7–0 shutout victory.

First Half

The Broncbusters jumped ahead early when Kenda Shalingi opened the scoring in the 8th minute, finishing a setup from Jose Navarro. Garden City quickly built momentum, and by the 22nd minute had doubled the advantage through a Jaden Grant penalty kick, followed just moments later by Hugo Gomez converting another spot kick to make it 3–0.

Lamar had two early penalty chances of their own, but both efforts went wide, keeping Garden City in full control.

Second Half

It didn't take long after halftime for the Broncbusters to extend the lead. Shalingi struck again in the 44th minute, this time assisted by Facundo Nuñez, pushing the margin to 4–0.

The scoring surge continued as Ridvan Akburak finished off a chance from Nicolas Muñiz in the 51st minute to make it 5–0. From there, it was the Hugo Gomez show, as the sophomore calmly slotted home back-to-back penalty kicks in the 74th minute, completing the emphatic 7–0 scoreline.
