Buster Track & Field Open in Wichita
Wichita, KS - The Broncbuster Track & Field team traveled to Wichita, KS to compete at the Friends First Chance Qualifier Meet hosted by Friends University as their Indoor track season opener.
Naya Jules: Collegiate debut in Pole Vault with a height of 3.05m (10'0'') with a National Qualifying standard and a new school record! She also had her collegiate debut in the 60H with a time of 10.93.
Halima Biggs: Collegiate debut in the 60m with a time of 8.46 placing 23rd, and High Jump with a height of 1.48m placing 5th.
Jaquelyne Gonzalez: 3000m collegiate debut with a time of 12:34.33 placing 9th.
Snegugu Mkhize: 3000m collegiate debut with a time of 12:45.98 placing 10th.
Maritza Romero: 3000m collegiate debut with a time of 12:12.27 placing 7th,
Umahan Sahin: 3000m with a time of 11:50.72 placing 4th.
Madyson Schreibvogel: 600m collegiate debut with a time of 1:45.72 placing 3rd.
Daniel Aboagye: Took the win in the 600m dash with a time of 1:22.79 and placed 2nd in the mile with a time of 4:23.78.
Israel Alexander: collegiate debut in the 60m with a time of 7.60 placing 81st.
Jerome Anderson: collegiate debut in the 400m dash with a time of 54.64 placing 34th, 60mH with a time of 10.13 placing 15th.
Mekhi Goitia: Collegiate debut in the 60m dash with a time of 7.18 placing 35th.
Brayan Herrera-Ramirez: Mile collegiate debut with a time of 4:34.16 placing 11th.
Travis Hollins: 60mH placing 8th with a time of 8.98, Long Jump: 6.29m

Anesu Makuwatsine: collegiate debut in the 600m dash with a time of 1:27.40 placing 12th.
Eyona Mangumta: Shot put placing 16th with a throw of 11.50m and Weight throw with a throw of 13.59m.
Garren McAfee: collegiate debut in the 60m dash with a time 7.78m placing 87th.
Breckin McClure: collegiate debut in the mile with a time of 5:01.12 placing 42nd.
Kyle Moore: collegiate debut in the 60m dash with a time of 7.15 placing 32nd.
Thaddaeus Rotich: collegiate debut in the mile with a time of 4:25.87 placing 3rd.
Carson Schmidt: Personal best in the mile with a time of 4:48.79, placed 19th in the 600m dash with a time of 1:30.51.
Jon Woods: Collegiate debut in the triple jump with a jump of 12.64m placing 10th.
The men's 4x4 team finished 14th with a time of 3:43.17.
The Broncbusters will travel to Topeka, Kansas on January 16th to compete at the Washburn Rust Buster Invite.
