Track Competes at Frank Sevigne Invitational; Mai Wins & Breaks Another Record
Lincoln, NE - The Broncbuster Track & Field team traveled to Lincoln, NE to compete at the 50th Frank Sevigne Invitational Friday, February 6th- 7th hosted by University of Nebraska.
Women's
Meryeme Mai: 5000m National Qualifier by breaking her own school record by 64 seconds with a time of 17:08, placing her 1st. National Qualification and personal best in the 800m with a time of 2:18.15.
Monifa Edwards: National Qualification in both the Shot Put and the Weight Throw. Shot put mark of 12.87m and Weight throw personal best with a mark of 15.20.
Reid Harvey-McKean: 3000m collegiate debut with a time of 10:47.73.
Naya Jules: Pentahlon collegiate debut with a total score of 2755.
Men's
Daniel Aboagye: National Qualifying and School Record with a time of 1:20.35, placing 4th. Mile personal best with a time of 4:10.87 placing 5th.
Landen Leonard: Mile personal best with a time of 4:24.40
Brayan Herrera-Ramirez: Mile personal best with a time of 4:30.04, 3000m personal best with a time of 8:58.99.
Marius Delchard: 3000m personal best with a time of 8:52.01.
Kadan Ponder: Shot Put personal best with a mark of 13.49m.
Thaddaeus Rotich: 5000m personal best with a time of 14:58.87 placing 2nd.
Kyle Moore: 60m personal best with a time of 7.07.
The Broncbusters will travel to Topeka, Kansas on February 13th-14th to compete at the Ichabod Invitational Hosted by Washburn University.
