El Reno, OK - The Garden City Broncbusters women's soccer team continued their opening stretch of the season with a hard-fought 2–2 draw against Redlands on the road.
First Half
Redlands opened the scoring in the 43rd minute, taking a 1–0 advantage into halftime despite Garden City controlling much of the possession and tallying six first-half shots.
Second Half
The Broncbusters roared back after the break. In the 64th minute, Wilma Nyberg (#8) netted the equalizer off an assist from Maria Galisteo (#6). Just three minutes later, Siobhan Davidson (#4) finished a chance in the 67th minute, pushing Garden City ahead 2–1.
But the Busters couldn't quite hold on. In the 86th minute, Ashinti Lewis (#9) buried a penalty kick for Redlands to draw the match level at 2–2.
