Broncbusters Fall to Host LCCC in Invitational Finale

Cheyenne, WY – Garden City wrapped up the Laramie County Community College Invitational on Saturday evening against the host Golden Eagles. Despite flashes of strong play, the Broncbusters were swept 3–0 (19–25, 23–25, 16–25).
The first set saw LCCC's balanced attack on full display. The Golden Eagles hit .182 in the frame while Garden City struggled to find rhythm, managing 9 kills to 7 errors. Andrea Djordjevic kept the Busters close with several timely swings, but late points went LCCC's way in a 25–19 finish.
Garden City responded with its best set of the night in the second. Djordjevic led the charge with a match-high 13 kills on .344 hitting, while Paris Bond chipped in 6 kills. Jana Kovacevic steadied the back row with 17 digs, as the Broncbusters pushed the Eagles deep into the frame before narrowly falling 25–23.
In the third, LCCC took control behind Lea Sæsoy (11 kills) and Ella Lopez (8 kills, 3 aces). Despite defensive efforts from Kamdyn Carr (17 digs) and contributions from Katarina Miscevic (2 kills, 2 blocks), Garden City couldn't keep pace. The Golden Eagles hit .257 in the set to close out the match 25–16.
