Broncbusters Swept on the Road at Colby

Colby, KS – Garden City hit the road Wednesday night to face Colby Community College and fell in straight sets, 0–3 (23–25, 13–25, 13–25).
The opening frame was the closest of the night. Katarina Miscevic provided a spark with efficient swings, finishing the match with 6 kills on .600 hitting, while Andrea Djordjevic added 5 kills and 3 blocks. Garden City tallied 11 kills in the set, pushing Colby late before narrowly dropping it 25–23.
Momentum swung fully toward the Trojans in set two. Colby hit an impressive .455 behind the play of Ella Dridi (15 kills, .480 hitting) and Isadora Carrareto (10 kills, 1.000 hitting). Garden City couldn't keep pace despite contributions from Beatriz Da Cruz and Jana Kovacevic, who each chipped in on the front line. The Busters dropped the set 25–13.
The third was much the same, with Colby's attack firing on all cylinders at a .522 efficiency. Karlotta Kattai and Dridi controlled the net, while Garden City struggled to generate consistent offense, managing just 4 kills in the set. Miscevic and Djordjevic continued to battle, but the Trojans closed out the sweep 25–13.
